Requirement
IFR: Both
91.411 (static) and 91.413
(transponder) inspections need to be performed every 24 months.
Requirement VFR: 91.413
(transponder) at a minimum,
needs to be performed every 24 months.
Anytime the static system
has been opened or the transponder system has been modified, the system
needs to be verified. Full calibration may not be necessary.
This service is not a requirement of an annual inspection.
Just because your aircraft is in annual inspection does not mean that
your altimeter or transponder inspection is current.
We can travel to your facility for these certifications.
